Job Post Tip: Use the Poached ATS

The best job posts bring in the best applicants – take it from us. Here are our tips on how to improve your posting on Poached.

Some businesses have to use their own Applicant Tracking System because they are part of a larger restaurant group. Other times, businesses choose to have applicants apply in-person or by phone — which is fine, and we support those types of job posts on Poached too. But, you should know that we notice more applications come through for jobs that direct seekers to apply via Poached, so if it’s possible to use the Poached Applicant Tracking system, aka your BackOffice — you should.

Many job seekers create their resumes on Poached or already have their resumes uploaded to their accounts — making it easy for them to apply for jobs on our site. Directing applicants away from Poached onto your own site, or to call or visit the restaurant, adds an additional step to the application process. You can expect people to drop off and not follow through for each extra step. With the labor shortage we’re experiencing, this isn’t ideal. You want as many applicants as you can get.

We’ve created great tools to help you organize all your applications in one place. Through your account — you can rate, contact, and schedule interviews with your candidates. You can also share resumes with your colleagues and set up automatic email notifications for new applicants to share across your team. We built our site specifically for employers in the hospitality industry to hire better — you can trust that the Poached ATS will allow you to organize your candidates and make that next hire more efficient.
