What is a Careers Page?

Your Careers Page is a place where you can share a little bit more about your company, display a banner image, logo, a standard message, and even a gallery. You can link it to your social media sites to grow your followers and basically, have fun with it! It’s your page to promote your business on Poached for it’s large and active user base… with or without a live job!

Job seekers will use this page to view all the open positions within your company, and get a feel for your culture, even before applying.

Stay tuned for future updates – soon we’ll be adding features including an embedded code to add your Careers Page to your own website as well as other embedding options for further job promotion. We’ll also start collecting followers to your page – this will allow Job Seekers who are interested in hearing about your latest opportunities to be notified as soon as you post your next Job!

Updating Your Careers Page is Simple!

Just log in and go to your Jobs Dashboard and click on the Careers Page tab.

 

From there you’ll be able to click to View Careers Page and edit your page.

 

Edit your Careers Page by clicking any of the edit icons in the top right-hand corner of each field.

 

Best Practices for Your Careers Page

For your Banner: Use the highest resolution image you can find. We offer a cropping tool to help you place your image onto the Careers Page, but lower resolution images, like screenshots will likely appear blurry. Pro Tip: If you have images you’ve used for other platforms, try using those first. 

For your Description: Describe what’s special about your business and why candidates would like to work for you. Job Seekers are often looking for places where they can learn, grow and be appreciated for the work they do.
